Elderberry & Lemon Balm Herbal Tea Blend, Evening Ritual
A tart, berry-deep cup to end the day, every day of the year.
Some traditions are worth keeping. At the end of the day, something warm in a favorite cup is a quiet pause before the house goes still. Evening Ritual brings that moment to your table.
We start with dark, tart elderberries grown by American family farms, then add bright lemon balm, tangy rose hips and a soft touch of anise hyssop, a native prairie herb with a naturally sweet, licorice-like note. The result is a ruby-colored cup that is fruity, lightly lemony and gently sweet, with no added sugar and no caffeine.
Enjoy it hot on cool nights, or brew it strong and pour it over ice on warm Texas evenings.

- Make it a ritual: Add a drizzle of local honey, or a pinch of our Cinnamon Delight.
Through a TCM lens
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, evening is the yin time of day, a time to gather in and slow down. Evening Ritual balances cool, sweet-and-sour elderberry and lemon balm with warm, aromatic anise hyssop, a cousin of the Chinese herb huo xiang, for a neutral cup made for the end of the day.

Questions
What does it taste like?
Fruity and tart like a dark berry jam, brightened with lemon and finished with a soft, natural anise sweetness.
Does it have caffeine?
No. Evening Ritual is an herbal tea with no tea leaves, so it is naturally caffeine free.
Why simmer instead of steep?
Whole dried elderberries are dense. A gentle simmer draws out their deep color and flavor; the short covered steep at the end keeps the lemon balm fresh and fragrant.
How should I store it?
Keep the pouch sealed in a cool, dark, dry place. For the best flavor, enjoy within a year.
Good to know
Do not eat the dried berries raw. If you are pregnant, nursing or taking medication, ask your healthcare provider before use.
