Ocean Root makes gourmet sea salts, spices and skincare products from natural ingredients. Information on our website, blog, videos and other materials ("Our Site") about the possible benefits of herbs, essential oils and other ingredients is for educational purposes only.
These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and nothing on Our Site is medical advice or a substitute for care from your doctor. Do not use it to self-diagnose or self-treat, and never delay seeking medical advice because of something you read here. Talk to your doctor before changing any medication or health practice.
Allergies and sensitivities. Natural ingredients can still cause irritation or allergic reactions, and every person is different. Each product page lists its full ingredients; do not use a product if you are sensitive to any of them. If you have sensitive skin, do a patch test first and stop using any product that causes irritation. If you have severe (anaphylactic) allergies to any ingredient in any of our products, please do not buy from us: we keep our facility clean but cannot rule out cross-contamination. Ocean Root is not responsible for individual reactions to any ingredient.
Reviews. Customer reviews reflect customers' personal opinions, not claims by Ocean Root. Individual results may vary.
Terms of Service
This website is operated by Greenhouse Linked Corp. doing business as Ocean Root ("we," "us," "our"). By using this site or buying from us, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Medical Disclaimer above, our Refund Policy and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Our store is hosted on Shopify.
1. Eligibility and use. You must be of legal age in your state or province, or have a parent or guardian's consent. You may not use the site or our products for any unlawful purpose; to harass, defame or discriminate against others; to submit false information; to collect others' personal data; to spam, phish or scrape; to upload viruses or harmful code; or to interfere with the site's security. You may not copy, resell or exploit any part of the site without our written permission. Breaking these terms may end your access immediately.
2. Products, prices and orders. We try to describe and photograph products accurately, but screen colors vary and we cannot guarantee every detail. Prices, products and availability may change at any time without notice. We may refuse, limit or cancel any order, including orders that appear to come from resellers, and we will try to contact you if we do. Returns and exchanges follow our Refund Policy.
3. Your account and billing. You agree to give accurate, current purchase and contact information and to keep it up to date. Card information is encrypted in transit; other content you send may not be.
4. Accuracy of information. Content on the site is for general information and may contain errors, omissions or outdated details. We may correct errors, update information or cancel affected orders at any time, including after you order, but we have no duty to update the site except as required by law.
5. Third-party tools and links. The site may offer third-party tools or links. We do not control them, provide them "as is," and are not responsible for their content, products or practices. Use them at your own risk and review their terms.
6. Comments and submissions. If you send us reviews, ideas or other content, we may use, edit and publish it without payment or obligation. Your content must not infringe anyone's rights or be unlawful, abusive, obscene or misleading, and you are responsible for it. We may remove any content we find objectionable.
7. Personal information. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information.
8. Disclaimer of warranties. The site and our products are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may suspend or change it at any time.
9. Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Ocean Root and its owners, employees, affiliates, suppliers and service providers are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or our products. Where the law does not allow this limit, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.
10. Indemnification. You agree to defend and hold harmless Ocean Root and its affiliates, employees and partners from any third-party claim, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your breach of these terms or of any law or third-party right.
11. Termination. You may stop using the site at any time. We may end or restrict your access without notice if we believe you have broken these terms. Obligations incurred before termination, including amounts owed, survive.
12. General. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. These terms are our entire agreement with you and replace any earlier versions. Headings are for convenience only. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and the United States.
13. Changes. We may update these terms by posting changes on this page. Continuing to use the site after changes are posted means you accept them.
