Nature provides all we need to consume to feel and look healthy. Mother nature has always provided what we need in life and she even helps us get back in track when our body is feeling low. We just need to know what to use and when!
During the cold weather our bodies need a little boost if we didn’t nourish it during the earlier months of the year. Yes, you heard me right! Our bodies need to be nourished all the time. We need to eat healthy foods, including protein, vegetables and fruits. Including a sport or exercise regime is important too. Think of your body to be the vessel for your soul. We need to look at it and ask our body what it needs. We often take for granted all the signs our body is showing us and we think it’s just part of life to have some type of ailment (headache, stomach ache or chapped lips).
What we eat and drink is so important. We live in a very fast paced world where fast food gives us the idea that we are being fed and that’s enough, but the truth is that we are only being fed enough to keep our bellies full. What we drink is also important. In today’s world, people are consuming too much carbonated water, and often times, it includes more sugars than what our bodies need and we are not being hydrated as a result. After time our bodies start telling us that we are not ok.
Eating fruit and vegetables during the cold months, is recommended too. Eating seasonal crops are the best! Mother nature knows.
When we need a lip balm for winter, we must become aware that we need to help our body. Aloe Vera Lip Balm is our best companion during the winter season. We all know how it feels to have chapped lips! It can even be painful but with Aloe vera lip balm on your side your lips will feel hydrated and nourished. Aloe Vera contains vitamin A, C, E and B12. It is cooling and moistening in addition to being antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory. It is also known for healing burns and wounds.
“Ancient Egypt called it the “Plant of Immortality” due to its ability to survive and even bloom without soil.”
With this being said we encourage you to use Aloe vera lip balm, consider it to be the lip balm for the winter. Natural Aloe Vera lip balm with beeswax for the winter season is a good idea to have handy. Especially the ones that don’t have any fragrance, flavors or any artificial ingredients. Avoid using lip balms that contain essential oils. Essential oils are great but we don’t need them on our lips, that in time will be ingested. We must take in mind the nature of essential oils; they are very concentrated and therefore potent. My advice is to be cautious.
Nevertheless, if you feel your lips are chapped all the time, meaning having chronic dry lips, you might want to evaluate if you are consuming too little B vitamins, zinc, iron or vitamin C.
Always consulting your health care practitioner is advised!
